FC4 and ati-fglrx 8.14.13 drivers

Hello,

I recently installed FC4 on my laptop, that has a 1.8 GHz Pentium-M and
a ATI Mobility FireGL T2 card. When I installed the ATI drivers, version
8.14.13, I found that the X server uses a lot more CPU than with the
Xorg Radeon driver: if the processor is running at 600 MHZ, 'top' shows
X using 30% of the CPU. (This both with livna.org drivers and with
drivers compiled by me and, at least, with the first and last kernels
available.) Someone has noticed this too and is there a fix?
