Jon, I've been using it at work and home since the weekend, and haven't run into any problems. I can start it at any point in X and not fail to load, I don't get any stalls -- in fact, it's quicker on the load now when clicking URLs inside XChat and GAIM. From experience migrating a lot of (Windows) user desktop Firefox stuff, one thing that always causes it to hang is extenstions; if you copy your profile to a new machine that has random extensions installed, but the new computer/Firefox doesn't, then it hangs on startup.
