With strace, it appears that I have two transcode modules making the scan
hang : filter_compare.so and filter_logo.so. Moving them away makes
dvd::rip complete the scan properly.

I'll report this to the dvd::rip mailing-list. Anyone interested in doing
some more debugging can post results here of course ;-)
