Eventually I realised that part of it was Firefox, and I was now using Red Hat's version of 1.5.0.1. I removed it and reinstalled your rpm (even though is for FC4)... and now things are more like they were in terms of speed. Otherwise it looks and works the same as the RH version. Not being all that knowledgeable about Firefox builds, I'm curious to know what this RPMS is doing that RH's isn't? Or vice versa... :)
