As someone who is using FC5 I'd have to agree with you.  I'm finding the
desktop to be pretty buggy and unpolished.  There have been well over
100megs up updates already since it was released.  Plus you've got only
freshrpms support atm (please correct me if I'm wrong).  I've just about
had it with FC5 atm. :(
