You haven't said if trying a "normal" playback (no pass-through) worked or not. If this isn't a package specific problem (i.e. missing codec in the build), then you're probably better off reporting this problem directly on the MPlayer lists. From the output, "Selected audio codec: [hwdts] afm: hwac3 (DTS through S/PDIF)" looks pretty good, but I don't understand what a52 lines and "hwac3: switched to AC3, 80000 bps, 48000 Hz" are doing there...
