YES, works very well with compiz/aiglx ;)

I have an x1400 in a new laptop and Fedora has caused me fits on it,  ubuntu
is working so  I should be able to get fc6 working, just have to spend more
time on it.

If anyone feels like having a go at it, I'll be more than happy to
> review the resulting package and include it on freshrpms ;-)


Not sure I know  how to figure out packaging the ati drivers , but will look
into it.

How did you do the Nvidia drivers?
