Hi,

To fix this issue particulary try setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH to your gcc-lib
directory. For example (in my case):

  export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/gcc-lib/alphaev56-unknown-linux-gnu/3.2.2/

Just look where your gcc-libs are.
After you did this, emerge gcc-config again, this should fix it forever
(at least i hope so).
