I just ran "scripts/bootstrap.sh 2"
This compiles the second half of the script, mainly glibc.
after that run "scripts/bootstrap.sh" normally and the new dependencies are
there for sed.

Actualy I got same problem bootstrapping gentoo on Multia
few days ago. Specifying ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~alpha" in make.conf
helped that particular problem, but it crashed badly further down the road.
I didn't have time to see what to do next yet.
