The man page is helpful I believe I did:

1. Ensure that bootlx is in /boot. The file is a part of aboot.

2. swriteboot /dev/<boot partition> bootlx

   In your case: swriteboot /dev/sda bootlx.

3. Ensure that you have a valid aboot.conf file. I have located mine in
/boot/etc. 

Again check the man pages. The person writing this email is a 'orange
belt' with aboot.
