Those #'s are normal, it should print two lots of them, approx 100 each
time (one lot for the initrd, and one lot for the kernel).

Thats a new one to me, can you confirm the md5 of the iso matches?

Nope, thats the correct iso and boot command, which should work just fine on Ruffian.
