First problem was with iconv.
Used this thread to solve it :
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=66835
(making the php_have_libiconv.h file)

Second problem with php was libc-client.a. Solved by : USE="-imap"
emerge mod_php.
So now I have an almost complete server. Apache/php/mysql, and proftpd
compiled like a charm.
No problem with postfix and courier-imap aswell.

Now it's time for samba and netatalk...
Is there any website where I can report succcesful builds of the masked
ebuilds ?
