The filters and other kmail config settings (accounts, etc.) are in
$KDEHOME/share/config/kmailrc, where $KDEHOME is:
	mdk8.2:	~/.kde	(or ~/.kde3 if you upgraded to kde3)
	gentoo: ~/.kde3

The address book is in $KDEHOME/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf

I multiboot (Windows 98, Mandrake 8.2, Mandrake Cooker and Gentoo) and
copy those files between distros without problems. My Mandrake ~/Mail
directories are symlinked to the Gentoo one, so wherever I am my mail is
current.
