Only the first filter is seen, Filter #0, and the > address book is empty. > > There has to be a better way to upgrade between KMAIL versions? > The filters and other kmail config settings (accounts, etc.) are in $KDEHOME/share/config/kmailrc, where $KDEHOME is: mdk8.2: ~/.kde (or ~/.kde3 if you upgraded to kde3) gentoo: ~/.kde3 The address book is in $KDEHOME/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf I multiboot (Windows 98, Mandrake 8.2, Mandrake Cooker and Gentoo) and copy those files between distros without problems. My Mandrake ~/Mail directories are symlinked to the Gentoo one, so wherever I am my mail is current. -- Gentoo Linux (portage-2.0.28).
