hp 940c and cups setup

Anyone else using an hp940c printer?
I have the printer on a network and samba can see the printer.
When I try to print a test page after setting it up in cups I get
"Unable to convert file 0 to printable format for job 35!"
in my cups error_log and the job cancels.

I am using the hp 900 series driver for cups.
