autofs+NIS problem

Hi,

I built gentoo-1.2 from scratch and I ran into a problem with autofs.
We're exporting automount maps through NIS.  When I start automount on
the gentoo machine, it gives *unresolved symbol yperr_string* when
trying to load autofs_yp.so.  I can see that this symbol is defined in
libnsl, but I can't figure out how to make autofs_yp.so aware of it.
Anyone else encountered this problem?
