update Re: Is this PCCard supported?

I thought I already sent this update, but I don't see
it posted...

I burned a CD with the driver, mounted that cd, then
did the 
# insmod /mnt/cdrom/driver_name
step.  At first I got an error because the version of
the driver differed from the gentoo kernel.

So I used -f (force, ignore version) option on insmod.
 That gave me a few unresolved symbols if I remember
correctly.

The real question is, should I expect to get this
pcmcia card to work?  Is it particularly non-standard
or poorly supported?  Or am I just having a few
"simple" technical difficulties that I can hope to
resolve?
