Don't know if GenToo has it, but you could try the "Shaper" app that's
included in Linux. It's a bandwidth monitor and allows you to adjust the
usage as needed. Another option is to enable IPChains/FW and logging.

Does anyone know a network monitor similar to IPTraf but for X11 (or KDE)? I
have been searching sourceforge and software.linux.com and have not found
anything like it.
I need something simple, to monitor traffic on my 2 PCs LAN which one of
them
is the NAT for the cablemodem.
