"The Dog" vs "TheDoogg" ASpell problem

I could not get the ASpell/PSpell combo to compile.

So I went with the new Aspell build for Aspell-0.50.1.

Now when I run the spelling checker in KMail I get results like this:

"The Doog"  comes out as "TheDogg" after trying to change Doog to Dog.

How do I fix this?
