for ripping a CD an convert the tracks automatically into ogg-files, you can 
use the konqueror.

Type in the addressbar :

audiocd:/

It should then list the contains of your cd. (You can configure this in 
startmenu->preferences->sound->Audio-CD-IO-Slave)

the konqueror adds directories in which it shows "virtual" ogg files. if you 
copy those to your hard drive, konqueror rips the tracks and convert them to 
ogg-files.
