sylpheed-claws problem

hello all

I was just trying to set up the sylpheed-claws.  It was time to start
sorting e-mail into different dirs.

So I created the dirs, selected the mesages and copied them.  (both drag
and drop and both from menu)

The dir where I copied them into was now showing 128 (or so) unread
messages.  So I went into the dir to make them unread (I was wondering
why they changed to unread) when I found out they were not read.  I
messed around making them read, back to unread, making everything in the
dir unread and I could not get the dir to figure out that I have no
unread messages...  At some point it was showing that I have 256
e-mails, (when I only had half of that in the box)

Is this a bug?  Am I doing anything wrong?  Any ideas?
