Hi all, I changed from an ethernet-based internet connection to a ppp-based one, but I'm having slight problems in making Gentoo understand this change. The connection itself works just fine (or, at least it seems to), but for some reason I still can't access the internet. Now, I'm guessing that this could be caused by the fact that I haven't told Gentoo about the new connection. Therefore the question is: How would I do that? Some background info. My old connection was through my home ethernet and my other computer acting as a gateway. Both the ethernet information and the IP of the gateway are in the /etc/conf.d/net file. The new connection is a standard ppp connection, which claims to be at 192.168.100.100. -- Cheers, Jani-Matti Hätinen
