can't set up network during install: Chicken and egg problem

Hello,

I am trying to install Gentoo Linux using the UT2003 LiveCD on my Dell box and ran into a problem pretty quickly:

I can't get networking up during the installation phase. I have two network cards:

1. 3COM 905C (3c59x driver)
2. Linksys LNE100 (tulip driver)

Unfortunately, neither module is on the CD. I can't find the Linux kernel sources on the CD either, so I can't recompile it.

Can anyone help?
