I noticed that on the most recent livecd that there is no pcmcia support. The pcmcia modules directory is empty. I want to install Gentoo on my laptop and all I have is a wireless network card. Obviously it wont work without pcmcia_core or my network card modules. I want to install stage 3 tarball not just stage1 provided on the cd. I tried mounting an existing linux partition and grab those pc modules but of course got a version mismatch error when I tried to load them. So what should I do? Also, my laptop is already running SuSE linux v7.2 and I want to install Gentoo on a separate partition. Is there any problem with sharing my existing swap partition? -Jennifer -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds." --Einstein
