drive mounting question...

Hello again,

    I have two drives in my computer, the first one (15gb) holds my windoze and gentoo os's.  The second one holds all my files.  I want to mount the second drive (hdb as far as I know) at boot up so I can access files from any user on my gentoo box, but i'm very lost as to how to go about this.  (hehe I never had to do this in mandrake....)  I tried reading the man page for mount, but just became even more confused.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance,
