Lexmark Z53 on USB?

Can you tell me how to get the Lexmark Z53 to work via USB?

I've reemerged cups, gimp-print-cups, ghostscript etc. all done when logg=
ed in=20
as root.

usbview shows the printer is out there.

I find no errors in any logs (no mention of USB at all which seems odd).

Nothing ever comes out on the printer.
