NIC card problem

Hello guys,
I have an IBM pSeries 610 yesterday I had several of the following
messages:
eth0: transmit timed out, status 0073, resetting.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 1850 vs. 1866, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 37596 vs. 37612, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 43173 vs. 43189, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 88468 vs. 88484, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 93377 vs. 93393, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 113522 vs. 113538, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 114599 vs. 114615, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 126192 vs. 126208, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 138642 vs. 138658, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 162178 vs. 162194, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 198697 vs. 198713, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 198715 vs. 198731, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 198733 vs. 198749, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 198751 vs. 198767, full=1.
eth0: out-of-sync dirty pointer, 198769 vs. 198785, full=1.
NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0: transmit timed out
eth0: transmit timed out, status 0073, resetting.

The above set of messages repeated like 3 times and dropping the
connection each time for some seconds, is this a problem at the driver
level? has somebody ever stumbled into this?
