install minimal .iso - usb

Hello list,

i am absolutely new about gentoo, and sorry at all for the above newbie 
question: i have a minimal ppc image of Gentoo 2004.3.iso it's only 
97-98M. I would like to copy it inside my small USB support (2.2GB) and 
run it (USB) at boot with essential software; gnome, http, mail ..

Please does anyone here can help me, suggestions or link, ecc ecc
