I think that drobbins' post about this to the GDML really puts the foot dow=
n=20
about organization and accountablility.

Stablity is a HUGE factor.  Perhaps if you have a gentoo server profile=20
selected and you emerge -p a package, i an extra field would be present for=
=20
rating the stability.... Example:

emerge -p postfix

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild  N   5 ] net-mail/postfix-2.0.12-r1
***

Where 5 would be the most stable and 1 would be the least.

Perhaps another field in emerge -p?  I am sure something could be figured o=
ut=20
for emerge -s, too.

AFAIK, klieber is against the idea of gentoo-server becoming too high on th=
e=20
agenda.  I don't see why we wouldn't need carpaski just to implement the=20
above emerge -p stuff, alone.
