Need to update firmware on Dell PowerEdge 2970 (9g)

Hi,
I have an PowerEdge 2970, I 'discovered' dsu – it seems like a really
good tool, and I've used it on our more recent generations of servers.

Unfortunately, it looks like dsu doesn't support 9g servers. But, the
inventory function works:
[root@fac1-host ~]# dsu --inventory
Getting System Inventory...
      1. BIOS ( Version : 4.2.1 )
      2. PERC 5/i Integrated Controller 0 Firmware ( Version :
5.1.1-0040 )
      3. ST973452SS Firmware ( Version : HT64 )
      4. ST973451SS Firmware ( Version : SM03 )
      5. ST973452SS Firmware ( Version : HT64 )
      6. SAS/SATA Backplane 0:0 Backplane Firmware ( Version : 1.05 )
      7. PowerEdge 2970 Broadcom NetXtreme II BCM5708 rev 12 (eno1) (
Version : 3.0.0 )
      8. PowerEdge 2970 Broadcom NetXtreme II BCM5708 rev 12 (eno2) (
Version : 3.0.0 )

So, I thought the path to take was to download Server Update Utility
7.2.1. I pulled that down, and tried to install the prerequisites for
RHEL 6 – I'm running RHEL 7.1. Unfortunately, invcol dies with a segfault.

[root@fac1-host Linux]# ./invcol
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Does anyone know of a work around for either of the above two updaters,
or documentation with instructions for manually updating the 2970's
firmware?

Thanks,
Dan
