Re: Not finding later bios version on an R630

Another option that I have found useful for learning of new updates 
since almost all of my R720 and R730 are identically configured is to 
use Dell Repository Manager.

I connect to one of my iDRAC's to determine my starting baseline that I 
use to create my Repository.
Once I setup my initial Repository of what is updateable in my systems I 
never touch it again unless I add a new adapter.
Then I use the Schedule Repository Search option to search on a regular 
basis (I have it set for once a week).
If a new update is found to one in my Repository, I get an email 
notification and that DUP is put into my Repository and the old one is 
placed in an Archive if I need to get to it.
The service looks to be reading the content from the Drivers and 
Download page.
That way when I am ready to do my maintenance on my data center I know I 
have the latest as of that date.
I have been using this method to keep my repository fresh for a couple 
of years.

I have been using Repository Manager for a few years, it looks like the 
catalog cadence is now twice a month so it is never very far off what is 
available on the Drivers and Download page.  Yes Repository Manager is a 
Windows application but I have found it is useful enough and it can run 
on a Laptop so I just keep an old Laptop around.  Mostly my team is on 
Chromebooks.  But that is another story.

Looking at the Linux Repository it seems that it is now on a Monthly 
cadence where before it was on a quarterly cadence.
