Problem with R300, PowerConnect switches, and LACP

I have several old PowerEdge R300 servers, connected to a couple of PowerConnect 6248 switches; each server has a couple of links in a LAG running LACP, and is running CentOS 6. My problem is that after a reboot, some of the LAG members won't be active. Both sides see link up on the member, but both sides see some members as inactive. I can reset the member on one end (either "ifconfig eth0 down" then "... up" on Linux, or "shut" and "no shut" on the switch), and the member will join the LAG. I have a bunch of newer Dells, as well as non-Dells, running CentOS 7, FreeBSD, and even Windows, all with LAGs to the same switches, and they all seem fine. It just appears to be a problem with the R300 and/or CentOS 6. Has anybody seen a problem like this before? -- Chris Adams <[email protected]>
