C410x revision needed for 8:1 mode

Hi,

We checked with team on this. The following steps might be helpful -

The middle board need not be replaced to enable 8:1 function.


1.       Please check if the 8:1 mapping is enabled in the C410x BMC.

2.       If the 8:1 mapping is not listed as an option in the BMC then please flash the latest BMC firmware.

3.       If the latest BMC firmware has been flashed and the 8:1 mapping is not listed then the "TOP" iPASS board probably needs replacing.

Also please note that the 8:1 mapping is only supported through C410x iPass ports 1 & 3.

iPass port 1 connects to GPU slots 1, 2, 3, 4, 13, 14, 15, 16
iPass port 3 connects to GPU slots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
