You have the computer in hand, you have the manual, you have the Sony web site. And GOOGLE is your friend. I keyed in "PCG-R600hfpd" specification and came up with http://www.vaio.sony-europe.com/itn/products/notebooks/models/r600hfpd/_bilder/r600hfp.pdf where they clearly state it is SDRAM SODIMM PC133 and they imply that 384 is the max (but I doubt that ).... -- John Andersen - NORCOM http://www.norcomsoftware.com/
