I'd suspect that a capacitor that filtered the noise is broken now. It
will probably be hard to locate it, but it could be a starting point.

Another possibility is that your internal power circuits have a problem
to keep the voltage stable. (Maybe also a capacitor.) Or your batteries
are weak.
