Re: backlight blown on grx 570

It cost me $150 for the extended warranty on my laptop.  I plan on using
it for at least two years.  With the number of them that die between 1
year and two year, and the normal warranty is only 1 year -- I think
it's a worthwhile investment.  Actually, it's cheaper than my insurance
on my laptop (have theft/damage/etc for work).  And after 2 years, I'll
probably keep it as a home computer or give it to a friend/family member
(mother) -- as long as I say I'm still the owner, I can get it fixed at
any point within the next 3 to 4 years.   Seems like a good deal to me. 
Plus because of how things were and timing, I ended up getting a GRX 600
fully loaded last december -- the extra couple hundred dollars to help
protect a $3,000 investment was more than worth it to me.
