Hi,
I personally own a Z1A and am struggling to make the latest ACPI patches
work.
I tried with several versions starting from 2.4.21-rc3 with patches from
acpi.sf.net, but the box freezes at boot just after ACPI setup.
Same problem with the -ac* patches (which incorporate the latest ACPI
patches, as it seems).
No problem with the vanilla kernels (2.4.20 or 2.4.21) though, but ACPI
support seems to be older than the one provided by acpi.sf.net.
I need the latest ACPI support to make the processor driver by Intel
work (the module references some symbols only provided by recent ACPI
support).
Has anyone achieved latest ACPI support with any Z1*? Does it required
some DSDT fix?
