Oh .. I should have mentioned that I did try fiddling with things to 
make it work.

When I loaded the cpuid and msr modules longrun got further, but still 
wouldn't work. The output from /dev/cpu/0/cpuid looked garbled, 
(GenuMx86ineTC? and no EOF) which I assumed was a side effect of running 
a non Crusoe optimised kernel.

If anybody knows different - please speak up ;-)
