compile with ACPI

Hi,
	I would like to compile a kernel with ACPI turned on to create RPM. I think I have to do 

	# rpmbuild -ba -v kernel*.spec
	
	for this. But I don't know where do I tell to turn on the ACPI. Any Ideas?

	And I have other patches too to apply. I think I should modify the kernel*.spec file 
	to apply patches. Is this true?
