Hi, all.
I just tried the SuSE Linux 8.2 LiveEval CD on my PCG-R505EL, but with only
limited success.
1. SaX2 was unable to configure X for better than 640x480 mode.
2. When I tried to configure the battery monitor applet, the system reported
that:
"Your computer seems to have a partial ACPI installation. ACPI was
probably enabled...."
It goes on to suggest that I rebuild the kernel.
So, what's the deal? I thought SuSE 8.2 was supposed to work "out of the
box". Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for any info.
