I've tried both ACPI and APM. I do believe the fan was running
constantly with the ACPI kernel. What surprises me most though is the
battery's poor performance in Windows. When I looked at the specs of the
machine it is supposed to get between two and a half hours and three
hours. Is SONY really stretching the truth? A hardware problem perhaps?
