AFAIK, laptop screens (and LCD in general) do not have refresh rates.
See, my "Monitor" section in XF86Config looks like:
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "LCD"
VendorName "Sony"
ModelName "PCG-GR214EP"
EndSection
No refresh rates.
