problem installing on PCG-GRT796HP

Hi

I am trying to install redhat 9 on Vaio PCG-GRT796HP. Problem is that 
instalation program can not probe the screen. I installed redhat in the 
command line mode and install went OK. Problem is that I can not use X. 
I could manualy edit XF86config file but I do not know vertichal and 
horizontal resolution of the screen.

Has anyone installed linux on this model, I also ried SUSE 8.1 and  
Mandrake 9.1 but with no luck.
