Problem installing linux on VAIO PCG-FRV23

I recently purchased the Sony PCG-FRV23 with comes with Windows XP home
edition as the default OS. I tried to install SuSE 8.2 Pro but the setup
freezes immediately after checking the "braille" displays. I tried disabling
ACPI, installing with safe setttings (APM is off) and even manual
installtion, but they all fail before going to the setup screen.

I tried in install Lindows 4.0 on it too, but it too frooze for some reason.

Have anyone successfully installed linux on this model? Any issues that I
need to be aware of?
