They are there. Otherwise there would be no /proc/acpi/battery.
BTW, I can live without them, as sonypi already reports the
battery status.

Well, it's a redhat kernel. They usually do port backwards.
So, how should I check if it works? any modules? piece of code?
How should I do suspend to disk? Also, how can I grab the power
button? currently it does nothing, and neither acpi nor sonypi
catch that.

Thanks you very much. If I can get any suspend or sleep mode
working, I almost have all what I need. Then I'm going to do
some hacking, to make everything work from the GUI.
