Hi Folks,
I just bought a Sony Vaio laptop and installed Mandrake 9.1 on it. I am
having a few problems with it.

1. KDE crashes the system on logout. I read a few messages posted on the
mailing list about this, but none of them had any information about any
fixes. Currently, to logout, what I do is, at the command prompt, init 3 and
then init 5. Does anyone know of a fix for this ? I need this badly :(

2. Mandrake 9.1 has been much better than RedHat in recognizing most of the
devices, however, there are a few devices still unconfigured (Modem, IEEE
1394 Controller and the memory stick reader). Does anyone know of suitable
drivers for this ?

thanks.
-deepak
