Re: KDE Crash on logout

hi John,
I'm using a Sony Vaio PCG V505BXP laptop. The specifications on the web-site 
claim ACM-ACPI support.
None of the lights blink, just a blank screen and the system hangs.
I don't have a /proc/acpi, but I do have a /proc/apm. Here's the output
1.16 1.2 0x03 0x01 0xff 0x80 -1% -1 ?
and I have apmd running.

I don't have any thermal/processor modules loaded.
I'll try getting to the console to see what's happening. Isn't the same 
information stored in a log somewhere, where I can get to it ?
