I was just wondering if anyone has had the same issue as me. My memory stick is recognized by the system. The light even blinks a few times when I try to mount it but the system says it the file system cannot be recognized. I have tested redhat 9 and mandrake 9.1 on the same boxen and it the same memory stick works just fine. I am not sure what exactly is wrong here. It cannot be a bad filesystem if the stick works in other distros. Other than that everything else seems to be fine. Anyone else having the same issue as I am? Just wondering. It is not a big deal really but it would be nice to be able to access the Memory Stick slot ;) One more thing. What is this Mantel Kernel I keep hearing about? I would just love to get more info on that if anyone knows details on that. Sorry one more thing, can someone please give me the best apt repositories out there for Suse 8.2. The one that I think looks the best so far seems to be this one: http://mirrors.mathematik.uni-bielefeld.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/SuSE/ Just wondering if anyone knew of a better one. Last thing, For some reason Yast does not seem to want to work under GNOME. Anyone else have this problem? Also some applications have a green tint to them. Is this SuSE's doing or is my xfree messed up ;) That's it. Cheers Jonathan C. Sitte <[email protected]>
