Thanks for the replies, guys. You're right -- I don't have ACPI built into my kernel but was looking into it this weekend but will probably re-compile today with the above patch applied. Thanks for the prongs.org link too -- I'll check that out. Is there anything else that needs to get configured once the kernel's rebuilt or is that pretty much it? Thanks again, Mark
