Similar temp profile when mine was dying. The ambient temperature in my
house was 65F/18C (in March, I am a poor grad student and don't wat to
use too much natural gas). The laptop's temp never got above 55C when it
was having its episodes. So I highly doubt it was the emergency shutoff
due to high temp.
