digital cd reading

Hi all,

XMMS-1.2.8-pre1 has just been released, and I gave it a try. It's full
of good surprises, so I encourage everyone to give it a try. Two things
in particular make it excellent for my Sony laptop:

1* ALSA is now natively supported. No need for an additional output
plugin.

2* Digital CD reading is now supported by the default CD Audio Player
input plugin. No need for the additional plugin most of us had to
install in order to be able to listen to audio CD's.

Thought it would be of interest for most of you :)
